Looking for my Birth Cert!

Joyce House is a useful place to go if one needs to access birth records. You can even find your birth mothers name if you know what day you were born. For more information on this approach to tracing refer to the yahoo adoption mail group: You have to become a member first, but thats fairly easy.

That is very interesting. Do you have a link to the adoption group on Yahoo?

    Hi, thanks for your comment.
I’m not sure if you are referring to Joyce House, or the yahoo Adoption mail group.?

But either way, I appreciate your feedback.

Be careful (and wise!) when paying for public records – some records (such as marital records) are not freely available (not that ive found) – but some records – such as military records – are available completely free! Some companies (like ancestory.com) charge for military records – so be sure to check that the records you want are not available for free before you pay for them.
